Toss, toss, thunk, toss, thunk, thunk.
Sometimes it’s good to just throw the balls without catching them. Revisit the basics.
Toss, toss, thunk, toss, thunk, thunk.
Pick them up. Two in the right hand, one in the left.
The material of the balls is soft. They’re full of little pebble-like beans. Not too full. Just enough to feel firm. Solid. There are light indentations in each ball along he seams. They form patterns, so it seems the balls are formed from six connected sides instead of a uniform material.
Toss one of the balls from the right hand. When it reaches its apex, toss the ball in the left hand. When the second ball reaches it’s peak – thunk as the first ball hits the ground – toss the third ball. Thunk as the second ball hits the ground. Thunk as the third ball hits the ground.
Pick up each of the balls from the ground. The second ball rolled a little away. Take a step, lean down and pick it up. Reposition the balls to their original places.
Start again. This time, catch each ball and continue the pattern.
Toss, toss, catch, toss, catch, toss, catch, toss, catch, toss, catch.
